It is under the slogan “The Good Move” that the second annual Tissu Premier Première Vision is presented. The Halls de la Filature, in Saint André-lez-Lille, opens its doors on 25 and 26 November, and will be attended by four Portuguese companies – ANTT CelostecelagemQuick-CodeSanmartin – supported by Associação Selectiva Moda, under the auspices of the From Portugal internationalisation project.

ANTT – Indústrias Têxteis SA | Celostecelagem | Quick Code | Sanmartin – Sociedade Têxtil Lda – are the four companies that make up the Portuguese delegation, forming part of the From Portugal internationalisation project, an initiative carried out by the Associação Selectiva Moda.

Allover embroidery, garments embroidered with jewels, circular knits and digital prints are some of the highlights of made-in Portugal that will be on display.

For the first time in Lille, with the support of the Associação Selectiva Moda, ANTT will present new items from its latest collection. “Our latest collection is inspired by a clean, geometric look using neutral, cool colours. We will also be presenting a mini collection of embroidered tulle, directed towards delicate clothing, underwear and lingerie”, reveals Patrícia Ribeiro, from the company’s creative department. The expansion strategy established by the company focuses heavily on this market. “The French market is of great interest, because one of our company's goals is to increase our volume of exports in this country. The French customer is important because his positioning is in line with that of the company, which is accustomed to working for the medium, medium-high and high segments. The Tissu Premier is a small but very focused fair, which allows us close contact with visitors and potential customers. Considering the textile sectors present at the fair, ANTT stands out for being one of the only companies to present allover embroidery and guipure, among other types of embroidery”, she adds.

In turn, Quick Code – Digital Fashion brings various novelties to Lille. In printed garments, microfloral patterns and gradients in ditsy prints, and in terms of materials, in particular satins and structured articles, among lustres, in particular “lurex” and in terms of techniques, emphasis on the “laser cut”. “Due to its geographic proximity, the Tissu Premier fair is of particular importance to our company in terms of finding customers who dictate fashion on a global scale and meeting the big European chain stores. Knowledge, pro-activity and market confidence today position Quick Code as a dynamic organisation that adapts to the constant demands of customers/markets. We thus want to offer customers who visit the Tissu Premier added value: flexibility, unique design and a fast response”, says Elisabete Duarte, the company’s sales director.

A frequent participant in this event, Sanmartin will present its new collection, with an emphasis on its haute couture, bridal, casual chic and sport chic ranges. In the bridal range, special emphasis has been placed on lace, garments embroidered with jewels, embroidered tulle, guiupure, jacquards, applications and prints. “We launched this collection thinking of our customers, who can thus create more cosmopolitan collections with a touch of elegance”, explains Alexandre Leitão, the company’s marketing manager. For Sanmartin, this is an event that cannot be missed. “As France pioneered the creation of fashion, we prioritise attending this event, which is well located geographically, allowing us to receive customers from all over Europe. We hope to receive positive feedback from our customers regarding our new collection and conduct market prospecting. This is an excellent opportunity to increase the recognition of Sanmartin as a major European player in the haute couture sector” he adds.

“The Good Move” is the slogan for this Tissu Premier Première Vision, which, based on the success of the last event, returns to Halls de la Filature, a former spinning mill, full of light, a site that met with the approval visitors and exhibitors in the June event. The Tissu Premier Première Vision is the last international fair on the calendar and will host around 80 exhibitors from Europe and Turkey.

The participation of the four Portuguese companies in one more Tissu Premier Première Vision edition is an initiative promoted by the Selectiva Moda Association, co-financed by the EU Structural and Investment Funds as part of the Operational Programme for Competitiveness and Internationalisation (POCI), Portugal 2020 and COMPETE 2020. The FROM PORTUGAL project is made up of approximately 81 international activities which take place in the second half of 2015 and in 2016, covering the entire textile and fashion industry and spread over four continents, with a total investment of over 13 million euros.
