FROM PORTUGAL SHOWS NEWS ON PERFORMANCE DAYS
A. Sampaio, Bloomati, Comfysocks, Dehora, Inovafil, LMA, Lurdes Sampaio, Sidónios Malhas, and TMR are the companies in the FROM PORTUGAL delegation participating in another edition of PERFORMANCE DAYS to be held from the 4th to the 5th of October in Munich.
An international reference in the world of fabrics and with a strong focus on sustainability and innovation areas, Performance Days returns to the Messe Munchen building and presents a strong delegation FROM PORTUGAL.
LMA is one of the cases which, according to Luís Dias, commercial director, “is where we find most of the clients we work with daily, and this is also the exhibition where the most well-prepared buyers of functional textiles are present”. Expecting more productivity than attendance in this edition of PERFORMANCE DAYS, LMA will present, in addition to the usual technical articles, “the collection more focused on knitwear with different functionalities, in natural fibers with natural/organic dyes and finishes, reducing the ecological footprint”, remarks adding LMA already has meetings scheduled with Swiss, German, Italian and Austrian clients.
Having participated with remarkable results in PERFORMANCE DAYS for over a decade, A. Sampaio is excited to return to the German event: "It has proven to be an important meeting point for the sporting and technical sector, fostering new contacts and supporting already established connections”, argues Inês Sampaio. With Europe as its main activity area, A.Sampaio will present “classic knits with noble mixtures and innovative finishes – namely dyeing with natural dyes” and the Icons for Life concept featuring timeless icons to top it off.
Lurdes Sampaio returns for its second edition at PERFORMANCE DAYS, where it hopes to meet with customers from the German, Swiss, and Nordic markets. “We are going to present FiberHeat, a mesh with the characteristics of generating heat when in contact with the body, raising body temperature, and promoting circulation”, explains Maria Sá, CEO of Lurdes Sampaio Malhas. “This is an important and growing market for us, particularly the sports area”, adds empathizing is a little reticent about the volume of visitors during the two days of the German fair.
The participation of Portuguese SMEs in PERFORMANCE DAYS is an initiative of Seletiva Moda and ATP - Portuguese Textile and Clothing Association, which aims to promote the internationalization of Portuguese companies in the textile sector. This fair is in the From Portugal project, within the scope of the application presented to the Portugal 2030 joint internationalization projects.
