From 8 to 10 July, all roads lead to Berlin! The leading names in German and international fashion will be attending the Berlin Fashion Week to keep abreast of the major new styles and trends for Spring/Summer 2015.

At this summer's edition, all eyes will be on two events: Bread & Butter Berlin and Premium Berlin, where three Portuguese companies will be taking part under the "From Portugal" internationalisation project, which is being run by the Selectiva Moda Association.

Bread & Butter, a trade fair specialising in Street and Urban Wear, and which normally features a unique portfolio of brands, this edition takes its inspiration from the "Brazilian Carnival". Regular exhibitors at this fair, Lightning Bolt and Gab's Design are the two Portuguese brands who will once again be present in the German capital.

Premium Berlin is a trade fair aimed at the haute couture segment, and is held twice a year at Station-Berlin. This event attracts some 60,000 visitors, with around 1,500 collections on show in an area measuring 23,000 m2.

Returning to Premium Berlin, the Portuguese brand Dielmar will be presenting its top styles for Spring/Summer 2015. As far as the colour palette for their sporty silhouette is concerned, the focus is on two shades of green (mint and pistachio), bubblegum pink and lavender blue. Their collection predominantly features washed cotton suits, unstructured garment dye and linen jackets, as well as slim and short-length trousers, with fun insides.

The participation of Portuguese companies in Berlin Fashion Week is an initiative of the Selectiva Moda Association, with the financial support of EU funds (NSRF), as part of the From Portugal project. The Selectiva Moda Association is a body that promotes the internationalisation of Portuguese companies, and for 2014 it has a programme of international activities in 35 different markets, targeting the areas of yarns, fabrics and accessories, fashion, home and decorative textiles and technical textiles.
