London is once again the children's fashion capital. The upcoming edition of Bubble London opens its doors on the 26 and 27 January, showcasing around 250 collections, six of which are Portuguese brands, which represent the best of what is made in Portugal in the children's wear segment.

Dr. Kid – Patachou – Piccola Stella – Little Angels – DOT – Vandoma – are the six Portuguese brands heading for London, with the support of Associação Selectiva Moda, within the From Portugal internationalisation project.

DOT, a regular presence at Bubble, is returning to London. Elegance, versatility and comfort are the key features of the collection. «Our main export country is the United Kingdom and the reason why we have participated in this trade show since 2011. It is a trade show with a great international profile and attended by several buyers from other countries, the European Union, in particular. Our main objective is to increase the number of sales and capture new clients in the United Kingdom», states Marta Oliveira, the company's manager.

The company Vandoma, which is making its debut at Bubble London, aims to expand the brand's children's wear segment. «We chose this trade show because we are seeking new clients in the children's wear segment, an area we have yet to fully exploit», explains Ana Sousa, manager of the company. Silk and polyester ties for babies and children, bows, belts, scarves and handkerchiefs for the younger segment, are some of the products highlighted. «The high quality of our products enables us to be confident that our attendance at this fair will be very positive», she adds.

After a very encouraging presence at the previous edition of Bubble London, Piccola Stella is back to consolidate contacts made. «In the last edition we made a number of contacts with clients and buyers, who want high quality collections at a suitable price», says Elisabete Azevedo, sales representative of the company. Highlight to the novelties of the 2015 Autumn/Winter collection. «The whole collection of the Piccola Stella brand has a personality that we wish to showcase internationally. We aim to present the main trends for the next cold-weather season and raise brand awareness», she explains.

The participation of Portuguese companies at Bubble London is an initiative promoted by Associação Selectiva Moda with the support of Community funding (NSRF), within the From Portugal project, which is part of a set of over 65 international actions scheduled for 2014, which cover the textile and fashion trade, spread across four continents - Europe, Asia, Africa and America - with a total investment of 9 million Euros.
