Once again, Portugal will be at the Salon International de la Lingerie, where the main trends for the coming seasons will be featured.

Iora Lingerie, Only You and Paulo Quebra Unipessoal are the three Portuguese companies, part of the internationalisation project From Portugal, sponsored by the Selectiva Moda Association.

A frequent presence at SIL, Iora Lingerie continues to focus on the French market. «This is the best lingerie fair in the world and receives visitors from all over the globe», Cristina Flores, the brand's commercial director, explains. It will present a collection comprising two lines, a classical and a more youthful one, including ladies' nightdresses, gowns, pyjamas and bed jackets.

For its part, Paulo Quebra Unipessoal will be making its debut in Paris at this edition and promises to surprise with its “Gattinna Fresh” line. Pyjamas and nightdresses are some of the featured products. «This is the best lingerie fair, attracting the major brands in the sector, as well as the major buyers. We have high expectations and hope to secure new contracts and new clients», Paulo Quebra, the company's director, reveals.

550 brands will be on show at the Salon International de la Lingerie which is visited by some 26,000 visitors. It is an event in which the quality and synergies of the participating brands, the range on display and the innovative setting largely contribute to its success.

The participation of Portuguese companies in the Salon International de la Lingerie is an initiative promoted by the Selectiva Moda Association with the support of EU funds (NSRF), under the project From Portugal, and is part of a series of more than 65 international activities planned for 2014, covering the entire textile and fashion range, spread over four continents - Europe, Asia, Africa and America - with a total investment of 9 million euros.
