For two days, 16 and 17 June, the Business Design Centre in London will open its doors for an event focused on the world of kids. Beppi Kids – Dr. Kid – DOT – Little Angels – Milk and Rock – Patachou – Piccola Stella – Piupiuchick – are the eight made-in-Portugal brands that will travel to London through an initiative organised by the Selectiva Moda Association, within the framework of the From
Portugal internationalisation project.
The presence of made-in-Portugal brands at Bubble London has been consolidated year after year. Eight
Portuguese brands - Beppi Kids | Dr. Kid | Little Angels | Milk and Rock | Patachou | Piccola Stella
|Piupiuchick - are taking to London the best of Portuguese kids’ fashion, as part of an initiative organised
by Selectiva Moda Association, with the support from the NSRF and the Compete Program.
Present for the first time at Bubble London, Milk and Rock presents its collection of shirts/blouses with
high-quality fabrics and production, quality being one of the brand’s main concerns.
“We are interested in the British market, due to the relative strength of the British economy and
because it is a market that looks for quality products”, explains Sónia Rocha, the company’s sales
representative. Expectations with regard to this participation are positive. “We want to present the “Milk and Rock” brand and make as many contacts as possible”, Sónia Rocha adds.
Also a first-time exhibitor, Piupiuchick will present itself in London under the slogan “Dress the same.
Dress differently. The difference is in the details”, which is the essence of the brand. “We chose
Bubble London because it is a leading trade fair in Europe and because its target is part of what
we are seeking in order to expand our international business”, explains Mariana Pimentel, head of
communication and marketing for the company, to justify its debut. “This will be our 1st time at an
international fair so our expectations are very high. We know that the European market
appreciates “Made in Portugal” and the Portugal brand is already playing its part. We will play
ours!”, she adds.
Bubble London runs twice yearly in January and June and is the only standalone children’s trade event in
the UK. The last show presented a 20% increase in overseas visitors, with a total of 280 exhibitors. This event
is an international reference, offering a unique concept. A must-visit event for those wanting to keep up-todate
with the latest in the children’s fashion market.
The participation of Portuguese companies in Bubble London is an initiative of Selectiva Moda Association,
with the support from the Compete Program and the NSRF, as part of the From Portugal project.
