The Olympia London, in the British capital, will host another edition of Fashion SVP on January 29th and 30th. The From Portugal entourage will be represented by four companies at one of the most important sourcing trade shows in Europe, visited by major fashion brands, department stores and distributors from around the world.

It is with great enthusiasm that the FROM PORTUGAL delegation, made up from the companies East Ocean, KiddyTex, Luipex, Panorama and Siena, accompanied by Triwool and Lanifato, will mark their presence in yet another edition of the international fair Fashion SVP. On display at Olympia London will be the world’s top 100 clothing manufacturers.

Luipex returns to Fashion SVP, in London, with high hopes of “attaining, as it happened in previous editions, new contacts that allow the company to increase its range of customers and orders”, reports Eduardo Freitas, the company’s manager. In addition to the English market, this Portuguese company specialized in swimwear for women, men and children has signed in previous editions "some Netherland customers".

With the goal of looking for “new customers in the English market”, Panorama returns to Olympia London to present “women's clothing for AW20 and printed fabrics for AW20/SS21”, states Paulo Santos, the company’s CEO. “In this edition, we seek to establish contacts with customers who are looking for fast fashion, and who are searching for a company which provides a complete service, from raw material sourcing, fashion design, fabric and sample development, and production”, discloses Paulo Santos.

The Portuguese companies participation in Fashion SVP is an initiative of Selectiva Moda and ATP - Textile and Clothing Association of Portugal, which aims to promote the internationalization of Portuguese fashion companies. The project “From Portugal” is co-financed by Portugal 2020, under Compete 2020 - Operational Program for Competitiveness and Internationalization, with an eligible support amount of €11.042.311,82, of which €6.065.501,91 comes through the European Regional Development Fund.
