J. CAETANO BETS ON TAPPED SEAMS AND LAMINATES FOR ISPO

With recurring participation in the ISPO physical trade show, it was without hesitation that J. Caetano said yes to ISPO Munich online, the digital version of the world's largest sports and technical clothing fair. With eyes set on the European and North American markets, the bet is on tapped seams and laminated products.

The format may be new and pose different challenges, but for J. Caetano there was no doubt: the company had to be present at the event that takes place online from February 1st to 5th. “We are confident that it will be a good exploratory experience of this type of concept”, stands Afonso Duarte, the company's commercial director.

With four consecutive participations in ISPO MUNICH, J. Caetano trusts completely “in the organization and in the power of this fair”, despite admitting that the digital format does not replace the physical versions of international trade shows. “The lack of physical contact with the products is evident, but on the other hand, the digital world gives us the possibility to reach more specific customers with less time loss and greater focus”, says the company representative.

In order to contact customers from the European and North American markets, J. Caetano will present at ISPO Munich Online some novelties, namely articles with tapped seams and laminates.

The participation of Portuguese SME companies in ISPO Munich Online is framed by the From Portugal project, an initiative of Selectiva Moda and ATP - Textile and Clothing Association of Portugal, which aims to promote the internationalization of Portuguese companies in the fashion area. The “From Portugal” project is co-financed by Portugal 2020, within the scope of Compete 2020 - Operational Program for Competitiveness and Internationalization.
