OASIS OF PORTUGUESE TISSUES

An escort made up of 13 national companies - A Fiandeira by Living Colours, Adalberto Estampados, Arco Têxteis, Fitor, Lemar, Lurdes Sampaio, Paulo de Oliveira, Penteadora, Sanmartin, Somelos Tecidos, Teviz, Tintex, Vilarinho –  suppported by Associação Selectiva Moda in the scope of the project From Portugal -  will travel to Munich to participate in the 32nd edition of the fair Munich Fabric Start.

A new edition of the fair Munich Fabric Start will take place from the 31st January to the 2nd February in Munich.
A delegation composed of 23 national companies - A Fiandeira by Living Colours, Adalberto Estampados, Arco Têxteis, Fitor, Lemar, Lurdes Sampaio, Paulo de Oliveira, Penteadora, Sanmartin, Somelos Tecidos, Teviz, Tintex, Vilarinho – heads towards Germany integrated in the internationalization Project implemented by Associação Selectiva Moda with the support of Qren. The luso companies take their proposals of trends to the next Spring/Summer 2013 to the German city. Throughout these years this fair has been gaining more importance and has assumed a preponderant role in the calendar of companies fairs.

Munich Fabric Start presents its 32nd edition which will be held in Münchner Order Center. The success of this fair remains unshakeable. On the last edition of the fair there were more than 800 exhibitors present and more than 18000 visitors attended the event. The percentage of foreign visitors was 35%.  
 
The participation of the Portuguese companies in Munich Fabric Start is an initiative of Associação Selectiva Moda with the support of communitary fundings (QREN), inserted in the project From Portugal. Associação Selectiva Moda is an entity which promotes the internationalization of Portuguese companies and counts, in 2012, with a program of 68 international actions in 25 distinct markets, targeting the areas of threads, tissues and accessorize, fashion, home textiles and technical textiles with an investment of 8,85 million euro.
