Simple stripes, bold stripes, small 3D effect stripes, printed fabrics and plaid are some of the unavoidable patterns according this specialist in fabrics for sportswear shirting. And at Adalberto Estampados, the trends are focused on «the need of physical and mental auto-preservation to better affirm our identity», explains Amadeu Santos, company’s designer. Among the presented themes, the spotlight is on “The Insolent”, with a summer colour palette – camel, greyish mauve, old pink and acid tones, such as sulphurous yellow and feminine pink – applied to winter fabrics, to «mock the conventions».
In knits, A. Sampaio & Filhos, LMA, Lurdes Sampaio and Sidónio Malhas show the most recent trends and the innovations for the season. Lightweight, soft and comfortable articles but with thermal and climatic properties which give protection and natural adaptation to the environment are part of the proposals of the collection Polar Winter – Survival Strategies of LMA. «We also highlight fabrics and knits with technical performance, isolated or in layers, with the application of a very thin synthetic film, laminated, which gives breathability and impermeability to water and wind», explains Alexandra Araújo, LMA’s administrator.
