PORTUGUESE INVASION IN FRANKFURT
Nine portuguese companies show in Frankfurt the best Portugal produces in clothing.
Texprocess takes places from 24-27 May, in Frankfurt, alongside Techtextil, the International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwoven Fabrics. In addition to presentations from leaders in technology, Texprocess includes the platform includes Source-it!, a special area dedicated to private label manufacturers, companies which manufacture under subcontract.
One of the highlights of Texprocess is the platform Source it!, where international clothing manufacturers are present, and where Portugal is represented by the largest delegation per country. 9 Portuguese companies present themselves with the support of the Association Selectiva Moda - Crispim Abreu, Cedite, Filobranca, Gouveia e Campos, Joaquim do Pinto Vale, Light Wear, Oliveira Morais, Squarcione and Raith.
Among the exhibitors are international market leaders, including manufacturers from countries known for their textile processing technology, such as Germany, Italy, Japan, China, Korea and Taiwan.The variety of products at the fair includes the entire production chain from cutting through sewing, embroidery and joints up to finishing, IT and logistics.
The fair will also host the Texprocess Lectures Forum dedicated to the following subjects: sourcing, sustainability and social standards. On behalf of the Portuguese Textile and Clothing Association, ATP, Paulo Vaz will make a presentation on the theme "Portugal: Excellence in private label. "
Associação Selectiva Moda is an entity that promotes the internationalization of the Portuguese companies and for 2011 has a 61 international actions program in 26 different markets, directed to yarn, fabrics and accessories, fashion, home textiles and decoration and technical textiles, with an investment of 7.43 million Euros.
